The sudden unresponsiveness of ms word could be due to if there are bugs or virus on the user’s system or the pc and it might usually cause the corruption of ms word files. Read more: Microsoft word not opening
If Word is not responding after an Office or Windows update, you can try uninstalling the update and see if that fixes the problem. This should work if the issue is caused by either of these updates. Launch Control Panel on your computer.
